Kelly Clarkson – an adorable twenty year old young woman from Texas. Soon to be a true American Idol. Known as Kellbell by her friends, she has ‘dorky’ personality that everyone just falls in love with. Don’t let that fool you, because boy, can she sure sing!
When Kelly was younger, she wanted to be a marine biologist, at least until she saw Jaws. While living in L.A. two years ago, she was an extra on the television show called Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, and was paid to record demo tapes for Hollywood record producers. She does promotional work for Red Bull by passing out free samples and works as a cocktail waitress at a comedy club in Arlington, Texas.
When asked why she should be Idol-ized, this beautiful talented singer said “I have the pipes, I have the stage presence, and I have the drive,”. Singing isn’t Kelly’s only interest, she has always wanted to pick up on the guitar because she thinks it’s just the coolest instrument.
Her lucky charm is a silver bracelet inscribed with the words ‘Own the Power’, given to the semifinalists on American Idol by Paula Abdul.
“Like every other girl in the world, my most embarrassing moment had to do with a guy completely turning me down. His loss!” as Kelly giggles when asked what her most embarrassing moment was.
Kelly’s favorite singer is, “Reba McEntire. What a voice!”, and her favorite song is “Kissing You” by Des’ree. The first concert that she had ever attended was a Celine Dion concert.
When asked what she would change about herself, she simply said she doesn’t need to. “I’m happy with myself. Of course, there are little things here and there that I wish were smaller and bigger, but I don’t know one person who is perfectly satisfied with their physical appearance.”
This 20-year-old single Texan girl from Burleson has come a long, long way, and with the help of you and me, hopefully she’ll become the American Idol. Why does she want to be the American Idol? “Being on a stage in front of millions is the biggest rush for me. It’s like I’m kind of nervous at first, but once I get out there I never want to leave the stage. I also think that the industry could use a little class.”

Sayang banget gw belon pernah liat konsernya, n gw ga tau apakah dia bakal dateng ke Indonesia ato ga, kalo sampe dia dateng ke Indo, gw pasti akan bela-belain dateng also pasti gw bakal sing-a-long selama konser….
Sohib-sohib gw juga tau kalo aku tu suka banget nyanyiin lagunya Kelly, waktu terakhir karaoke, gw nyanyiin lagu “Never Again” dari album terbarunya “My December” dengan heboh banget, n sempat di rekam ama temen gw, tapi gw ga akan posting videonya, it will be my private property, hehhehehe lagian ngapain liat gw ;P
Album terakhirnya Kelly yg “My December” menurut gw memang beda dari album-album sebelonnya, jujur aja sih lebih bagus album yang sebelon-sebelonnya, di album yang terakhir ini gw ga tau lagu-lagu yang liriknya “gelap” n penuh kemarahan n sakit ati itu ditujuin ke siapa or apakah dari pengalaman pribadi dia.
Tapi basiclly lagu-lagu dia itu banyak yang mengandung unsur sakit hati n kepahitan…
Lagu yang gw suka dari dia n yang biasa gw nyanyiin adalah yang judulnya “Because of You” yang bercerita tentang trauma karena keluarga yang broken home, dan aku pernah baca kalo itu merupakan pengalaman pribadi dia.
